Peter enjoys travelling now that he is retired and likes to record his travels.
My photographs generally come out of my hiking activities and are mostly landscape.
I have for some time dabbled in producing videos. Mostly these are a record of my hikes and include a mixture of stills and motion pictures and are shared on youtube. Photoart is a media that I occasionally dip into. I have one DSLR but generally for convenience use a bridge or compact camera.
Des is a very keen nature and bird photographer.
Landscapes, cars and cats feature quite heavily in Martin's photography.
The sort of photography I like is outdoors in the countryside.
My images use minor parts of the landscape rather than traditional views, the pictures are more personal than a record of a location.
Amongst the cultural baggage I bring to the act of making pictures are an interest in Romanticism, Op Art and the history of photography.
Chris is a keen traveller and likes to document the people as well as the places when he is travelling.
Shirley was a photographic widow for many years (married to Brian one of our longstanding members) until she decided if you can't beat them, then join them.
She and Brian travel a lot and she gets many of her best images on these travels. She has recently been awarded her CPAGB.

Stephen says the following about his photography:
"I got interested in photography three years ago . It is a slow process but my photographs are steadily improving . My Flickr. page shows my progression."
Coming from a farming family I love to take pictures of animals, countryside landscapes and I am also beginning to take photos of architecture.
